Meet Danny the capybara. Before he came to the Lake Superior Zoo, Danny lived inside a mall at SeaQuest Roseville. He had never touched grass. He had never felt the sun. He had never known what it was like to stand in the rain.Today, Danny is thrivingâsoaking up sunshine, grazing on green grass, and finally experiencing the life he deserves. ð But Danny still needs a friend, and while he has access to a small pool in his behind the scenes area, we want him to have a permanent and larger swimming area visible to guests! Thatâs where you come in. Our New Beginnings Campaign is raising funds to create the habitats our rescued animals need to truly flourish. With a $300 donation, you can dedicate a tile on our New Beginnings Wall (coming in 2026) to your family, your business, or even in memory of a loved one. Your gift will leave a lasting legacyâand help us bring joy to animals like Danny. If you are unable to donate, remember that sharing the campaign with your friends and family helps us immensely! Thank you to all who have helped get the word out and have supported this effort thus far! ð¾ Letâs give Danny the life he was always meant to have.ð Donate today and be part of his new beginning: https://givebutter.com/KLsbEt #NewBeginnings #LakeSuperiorZoo #RescueToRecovery #CapybaraLove #DuluthMN | Lake Superior Zoo | Zootzle
