As the mother of Black children, I often have convos with my pre/teen sons regarding their safety. We’ve been having these talks since they were 6 & 8Before asking “why are Black parents allowing their children to be in situations with white people?” plz remember that children are not property & an 18yo can very much do what they want to do. For all we know, Nolan Wells’ parents begged him not to go with those white boys — plz direct your outrage & judgement toward the ppl who were with him. | Zootzle
