The White House on Instagram: "Big news: @usedgov will begin notifying borrowers that their federal loans will be discharged following fixes to income driven repayment plans.This is a result of the Administration’s actions to ensure borrowers have an accurate count of payments qualifying for income driven repayment plan forgiveness.Eligible borrowers will be informed by the @usedgov starting today if they qualify for forgiveness without further action on their part. This action builds on the Administration’s record forgiving $78 billion in student debt relief. As of today, this includes: - 653,800 public servants through Public Service Loan Forgiveness- 491,000 borrowers who have a permanent disability- 1.3 million borrowers taken advantage of by schools In total, more than $116 billion in student loan forgiveness has been approved for more than 3.4 million borrowers under the Biden-Harris Administration." | Zootzle
