Nick Pendergrast on Instagram: "Aquatic therapy is my favorite right now. Since there is less gravitational force in water, I am able to move my leg more freely. That’s the closest I’ve got to walking without assistance. I trust myself more because I can not fall. It’s almost like an out of body experience since I’ve been paralyzed now for 7 months. The majority of the time I am making an effort to focus on my gait pattern instead of what I am feeling. My goal is to balance that out in time. This week I felt very supported because my dad (a retired PT himself) was here visiting. I hadn’t seen him in a long time so although it took this situation to bring us together, I am glad it happened." | Zootzle
